Video „A Global Sound Wave“ from 30. July 2021
We celebrated Peter Hess' birthday with our GLOBAL SOUND WAVE and enjoyed the sounds together.
On 30 July, Peter Hess turned 80 - and we celebrated him with a world-spanning Global Sound Wave! 12 hours of sound with contributions from over 20 countries, live in ZOOM and on YouTube - what an event!
Over the course of the 12 hours, more than 3,000 people were there live on YouTube and via Zoom.
The following countries were present: Nepal, Spain, Australia, Portugal, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Slovakia, England, Switzerland, France, USA, Brazil, Canada, Hungary, Turkey, Poland and Austria.
On the one hand, it was a wonderful, unprecedented, sonorous and profound gift with which we were able to give Peter enormous joy! On the other hand, it also made it clearly perceptible for all sound practitioners worldwide what a large sound community we are and how diversely people work with the singing bowls and the Peter Hess® sound methods all over the world.
A highlight was certainly the joint EARTH SOUND from 3.00 p.m. - 3.30 p.m., when all over the world our singing bowls sounded for "Mother Earth", accompanied by good wishes for a beautiful and peaceful world.
Likewise at the end the live greeting and farewell by Peter Hess, who followed the actions in Schweringen, in the Peter Hess® Centre, with great interest and visibly moved.
We are very grateful for all the contributions, the many posts and stories that have shown how sound once goes around the world!
It is incredible what we have all put together! Many, many thanks to each and every one of you who helped bring this great project into the world and celebrate Peter with this gift!
The many wonderful feedbacks were a joy and confirmation for us of this unique event.
